Design Award

We from House Of Smart We are proud to have received numerous design awards for our store's unique design. Dutch Design Daily even calls our store one of the "gems" of the annual Dutch Design Week.

The interior was designed by Maurice Mentjens (Bonnefantenmuseum, Frans Hals Museum, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and many more). It features an abstract design inspired by the connection between the brain and the central nervous system.

Throughout the store, you'll find metal connections that form a maze-like structure. Mentjens used these to represent the neurological pathways that connect the brain to the rest of the body. He designed the store after Eindhoven was named the world's smartest region in 2011.
